New Zealand - Day 6 - Greymouth to Christchurch

The sun was shining and the air was crisp and clear. A perfect day to travel through Arthur's Pass to Christchurch.

We stopped at a snowy field and had a walk around. It was amazing.

At Darfield we stopped for tasty pies for lunch then ventured into Christchurch city. We splurged on the ultimate accomodation treat and checked into the Millenium Hotel which had a spa bath, super-king bed and valet parking.

That afternoon we walked around Cristchurch checking out the sites and got in a bit of culture at the museum.

We completed our classy day by having a lovely Thai meal and spending the evening at the casino - all dressed up to the nines of course :)

When our taxi pulled up out the front, a concierge came out to meet it and open the door for us! We stayed up til 2am to make the most of the room.
