New Zealand - Day 10 - Akaroa

We got up and after a cooked breakfast headed down to the pier to go on our swim only to find it was cancelled due to rough seas. 

We spent the day wandering through the collection of local art & craft shops before grabbing an ice cream and heading home to watch a dvd. 

Halfway through the heater on the wall started to spontaneously rattle and spark so we wandered up to complain about it.  The man there would not listen to our story and kept talking over Jess and she was just about to let him have it when Carl (sensing danger) stepped in. 

The upshot is we got it fixed and enjoyed the rest of the evening.
