New Zealand - Day 12 - Hanmer Springs to Wellington

Woke up hideously early owing to the need to catch a ferry at 1. 

We took the inland route to Kaikoura then headed up the coast to Picton stopping at the Ohau Point to look at the seal colony there.

We picked up a hitchhiker in Blenheim and took her to the ferry before checking in ourselves.  We managed to snatch a 5 min nap before getting called down to the car to turn off the interior light! 

We got to Wellington at half four and headed home via the local Prenzel shop to pick Resh up a birthday prezzy.  We got home to find a little birthday party about to begin and spent an awesome night celebrating with Jen, Mark, Sam and Resh.
